Announcement for ACTC Annual Translator’s Award

ACTC Translation Centre is glad to announce its 2010 Annual Translator’s Award. The event spans throughout the year and credits all our translators for bringing contribution to ACTC through their passion and active participation. Now it is the time to ring the bell! ACTC would like to avail itself of this opportunity to express the heart-felt gratitude to all translators who have contributed significantly and played an invaluable role in ACTC for the past year.

The year 2010 has seen ACTC in fast development with the hard work of the team. As aforesaid, we set ACTC Annual Translator’s Award objectives as follows:
• Realize, recognize and reward outstanding and professional translators
• Encourage working translators to contribute to the translation profession
• Provide role models for fellow working translators
• Increase recognition of the translator profession
• Inspires and stimulates translators to intensify their translation skills.
• Express our gratitude to working translators of ACTC Translation Centre

In pursuit of these objectives, after careful consideration, we are pleased to denominate the following translators as recipients for the 2010 awards:
1st Prize: Liu Zhiga (English ->Chinese)
2nd Prize: Hiro Yasu (English ->Japanese)
3rd Prize: Michael (English <->German)

We highly value your feedback, and we would like to hear more from you for our future events. The purpose of this award is to enhance professional qualities and activity of translation industry in Singapore, and we hope to be a pioneer in bringing the quality translation of Singapore to a new high with our consistent efforts in exceeding the expectations of our customers in the globalized economy.

ACTC wishes to express its appreciation and congratulation to the recipients who have made an eminent contribution last year and we wish all our translators and clients a happy 2011 ahead!
